The Lake is home to over 280 Species of Cichlids, which are the small colourful fish found, very popular for aquariums, around the world. There are MANY other critters, much larger and far more challenging to catch!
The SANGALA PAMBA, is one of only 23 species of fresh water fish, with the accolade of growing over 2 metres in length and over 100kg's in weight. This is his HOME!!
We were lucky enough to host Mr. Jakub Wagner recently. Jakub has a quest of catching His list of 23. This entails 23 Freshwater Fish, that can all grow over 2m in length and get to weigh 100 kg or more. We all had great fun and learnt a huge amount about fishing.
We have two fishing boats available for hire and because sports fishing is such a personal affair, we suggest that serious fishermen bring their own favorite tackle. We can provide the standard rods, reels and things, but let's get serious!!!!
