We offer a wide range of accomodation options...
Our property boasts Luxury Beach Chalets, Lawn Bandas and a well appointed campsite. We also offer Fly camping along the pristine beaches in luxury tents and tented accommodation in the nearby Katavi National Park.
Beach Chalets
Our Chalets are "AFRICAN ZEN" in design, incorporating all of the natural elements. Each Beach Chalet is built on it's own section of our 400m beach, no more than 20 steps to the water's edge.
These thatched units, offer luxurious, shady retreats from the hot sun, incorporating minimum obstruction to the vista's of the lake and allowing the sweet, cool breeze off the water to permeate your space.
Your ablutions have views onto private Zen Gardens and the front of the room is a private, sandy beach with hammocks for your leisure.
Your large mosquito net will engulf you at night, giving the entire chalet a feeling of dreaminess and tranquility.
Depending on bookings, we can configure the Beach Chalets in the following ways:
- FAMILY CHALETS are perfect for 4 people with a master bedroom upstairs, a second bedroom downstairs, 1 bathroom with a shower, double vanity and w.c, dressing area and outside relaxation area. The open-air designs, ensure that the beauty and tranquillity of the Lake permeate each Chalet.
- DOUBLE CHALET - Extra large double bed, ensuite bathroom, dressing area, private beach, hammock, zen gardens and water feature
- TWIN CHALET - two large queen sise beds, with the same appointments as the Double Chalets
- HONEYMOON CHALET - is the perfect getaway for newlyweds. Upstairs is your own lounge area offering an intimate sanctuary here at the lake. Downstairs, the ensuite bedroom leads from a sandy terrace complete with hammocks for lazy afternoons. The inside bathroom incorporates a dressing room, separate shower and toilet. Outside a huge bathtub is positioned facing the Lake. You may never want to leave your room.
Bandas
These are large, well-appointed rooms, set out on the lawn, with unimpeded views of the Lake. These double rooms have separate bathrooms, shared between two Bandas.
For the budget tourist who does not want to carry around his own tent or would like to spend a few nights in a comfortable bed enjoying the Lake and taking part in the great activities on offer here, our Bandas are the ideal accommodation.
Eight Bandas offer a spacious bedroom and dressing area for two people closely positioned to the shared bathrooms. Even these bathrooms take advantage of the spectacular scenery.
Campsites
For self-drive vehicles and campers, we have separate campsites, offering privacy to individual campers or groups. Each campsite is positioned under the shade of huge trees overlooking the Lake. All have running water, a fire area for cooking and barbeques and are close to the communal bathrooms and guest areas.
Fly Camping
For the real explorer, we offer overnight Diving & Kayaking Safaris. After a day of diving, snorkeling or kayaking, we will take you to a secluded beach where a fully-kitted fly camp awaits you, just in time for an ice cold sundowner. With hot water showers, spacious tents and delicious food, not only boy scouts need have all the fun.
Guest Facilities
The Funky Mango Bar and Restaurant offers international cuisine, prepared with fresh ingredients from our ORGANIC FARM. Enjoy your favourite cocktail, watch the sun come up, or go down, or simply curl up with a good book in our cosy lounge.

The Farm Stall will sell an array of produce from our organic farm including bread, eggs, butter, milk, cheese, chicken, beef, pork, fruit, vegetables, homemade jams, pickles and relishes.
For self-drive guests we have a full workshop with a qualified mechanic who can help sort out any problems that you might have. Being hardy travelers ourselves, we know that sometimes your trusty vehicle develops a glitch here and there (not as often for us Toyota owners as for our Landy counterparts). We are here to help if we can.
